Creatextil, primeros encuentros textiles / ETN General Assembly

Vom 30. Mai bis zum 2. Juni findet im Museo del Traje, im Kostümmuseum der spanischen Hauptstadt, das erste TEXTIL_Treffen statt. Organisiert wird es von der spanischen Vereinigung der TextilkünstlerInnen. Das Programm umfasst Museums- und Ausstellungsbesuche, eine Texilwarenmesse, zwei Nachmittage mit Kurzvorstellungen verchiedener im textilen Bereich arbeitender KünstlerInnen, und die ETN_Vollversammlung.

Ich hab es zum Schluss doch geschafft, eine kleine Lücke freizuräumen, werde zwar nicht von anfang an dabei sein können, dafür aber einen kleinen Vortrag über das KUKUprojekt und seine TEXTILEN FRANSEN halten.

Andrea Milde es tejedora de tapices narrativos, activista cultural y promotora del KUKUprojekt, un espacio de trabajo artístico y cultural, de intercambio de conocimientos y de convivencia, de aprendizajes y de enseñanzas colectivos.
Las herramientas con las que trabajamos son la naturaleza, la imaginación, la creatividad y las ganas y la voluntad de las personas que generan las acciones y actividades del proyecto y participan en ellas.
El espacio físico del KUKU alberga un taller abierto de tapiz narrativo de alto lizo, promueve acciones colectivas para reivindicar las habilidades manuales y los espacios públicos para la ciudadanía, y colabora en varios proyectos multidisciplinares como el proyecto 410_días.

Andrea Milde is a weaver of narrative tapestries, cultural activist and one of the promoters of the KUKUprojekt, which bases his activities in three main topics: art, nature and the cultural exchange:
It is conceived as:
* a working- place: with an open textile_workshop and exhibition space
* a learning-place: where interested people can learn different techniques in the field of (textile) arts and crafts in short-term and long-term workshops,
* a research place: offering workshops with mentoring for all those who are interested in a personal research of their creative capacities.
In the frame of the KUKUprojekt we promote collective performances in public spaces and collaborate with different art_proyects, as there is the proyect 410_days.
